Once a month - every last Saturday - the Frisian Wool Weaving Mill gives an insight into the fascinating production of high-quality wool blankets and shawls. We show how the wool from the dyke sheep is turned into soft, warm and durable woollen blankets, what great properties pure new wool has and how we are reviving the cultural treasure of wool weaving. And of course, we also have many different Coastland blankets in our factory store for the fresh days and evenings on the coast.
