The Frisian Kale Festival kicks off the winter season: a cozy evening with plenty of kale (or schnitzel) in a wintery atmosphere, all-you-can-drink, and music from a DJ until 2 a.m. The highlight of the evening is the election of the Kale King or Kale Queen—a fun tradition from northern Germany.
