Sustainability, regionality, enjoyment and slowing down: These are the themes of the Cittaslow country market in Bad Essen. This is not a traditional weekly market: the focus is on raising awareness of climate-conscious nutrition and getting to know regional and organic producers and their high-quality products. With numerous stalls, a long gourmet table, specialties, tips and information from the producers, the church square at the country market becomes a cosy fairground. Suitable musical entertainment is also provided.
