Burgmannsfest Quakenbrück
It's that time again on the third weekend in September. The Burgmannsfest in the center of Quakenbrück is back. It starts on Friday evening with the traditional "ringing in". The new Burgmann or Burgfrau is called out of the town hall by children and adults in historical dress.
Eight stages are then the focal point for the people of Quakenbrück and guests of the town on Saturday and Sunday.
On Sunday, when the shops are open, there will once again be plenty for the youngest visitors.
On the same weekend, the Samtgemeinde Artland library will be holding its media flea market and the town museum its book market.
