A Place for EncountersThe Festival of Cultures in Leer Celebrates Its Anniversary
On September 6, the Working Group for Intercultural Understanding invites you to the Festival of Cultures.
The event stretches along the pedestrian zone from Mühlenplatz to Denkmalplatz. A varied program awaits visitors on two stages. Music and dance groups from various countries will present their cultural performances. In addition, numerous clubs and initiatives will introduce themselves with information booths and hands-on activities.
The festival is organized by the Working Group for Intercultural Understanding, whose organizing team is already looking forward to the September weekend with great anticipation. “We are confident that the festival will once again be a cultural highlight in Leer this year,” emphasizes Irina Buxbaum, who has also been helping to organize the festival since its inception.
