On wide forest paths but also narrow trails, the trail runs for around 5 kilometers through the northern Teutoburg Forest. After overcoming the one or other ascent, numerous benches along the way offer the opportunity for a little breather in between.
The Varus Tower, which gives the trail its name, is unfortunately closed until further notice.
