Marsch und Mühlen

The tour is characterized by the vast dyke and marshland landscape of northern Germany. Highlights along the route include the tranquil Geest farming village of Meyenburg with its fully functional watermill and the ruins of the "Valentin" bunker, a submarine shipyard from the Second World War. A special building, with a rare square fieldstone tower, is the Michaeliskirche church in Neuenkirchen from the 12th century.
