Directions

Start and finish is the horse market in Rotenburg (Wümme), right next to the town hall. After crossing the Wümme lowlands, you cycle through the Stellinger Moor to the Emen golf course and on to Westerholz. The route runs over a geest hill past the settlement of Bult in the direction of Westeresch to Jeersdorf. There you can take a break at the barbecue area before continuing on to Scheeßel.

Scheeßel welcomes you with a water mill worth seeing, which is located directly on the Wümme. You can also explore the Scheeßel Home Museum, with its Meyerhof and Home Museum grounds and an interesting permanent blueprint exhibition. The St. Lucas Church, built in 1757 in the peasant baroque style, is also worth a visit.

From Scheeßel, drive to the small village of Bartelsdorf with its attractive farmhouses, the small honey store and the small cemetery, where all the gravestones are made of boulders. Now it's not far to Rotenburg (Wümme).
