The Tourist Information Office is located in the branch of the city library. Here you’ll find brochures, cycling and hiking maps, souvenirs, and much more. Right in front of the entrance to the City Library, on “Bohlweg” street, there is an electric vehicle charging station with two charging spots. In addition to serving as a tourist information center, the City Library branch also functions as a gallery for local artists. There are book presentations and readings, children’s programs, game mornings, and many more cultural events. Feel free to stay up to date via their event calendar. In accordance with the“Travel for All” criteria, the facility is at least partially accessible to people with mobility impairments.

Take the B6 or B248 to the Salzgitter-Bad, Süd exit. At the roundabout, take the exit marked "Gittertor," then continue straight ahead (the road becomes Bohlweg) until you see the market square on your left.
Parken
Free parking is available directly in front of the building on the Upper Market Square. You must display a parking disc; the parking limit is 1 hour. Please note: Saturdays are market days, so these spaces are off-limits. On those days, please use the parking spaces in the adjacent “Warnestraße” underground garage or directly on “Bohlweg”—both are also free of charge with a parking disc.
Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel
Salzgitter-Bad has its own train station, which is connected to the regional rail network and offers a direct connection to Braunschweig, the nearest ICE station. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the tourist information office, but you can also take bus lines 603, 611, or 618 from the adjacent bus station to the “Salzgitter-Bad, Bohlweg/Marktplatz” stop.
