Rosarium
Intertwining paths lead to themed gardens such as the Gloria Dei Garden, the Rococo Garden or the English Rose Garden, past exotic shrubs and trees to idyllic squares and ponds. More than 5,000 lushly blooming roses, some of them historic, from over 500 different varieties lure visitors into a fairytale world. The big Rose Festival in June offers new cultural highlights every year. Artists, musicians and actors take part, while storytellers and colorful children's activities create a cheerful noise in the otherwise quiet refuge.
Every year, Good Friday (new) is the day the season opens. Even if the spring flowers initially provide a colorful picture instead of the roses. Varied entertainment for young and old is guaranteed with a colourful supporting program.
Diverse small events ensure a varied program throughout the year. Artists, musicians and actors take part; storytellers and colorful children's activities ensure a cheerful noise in the otherwise quiet refuge.
The glittering finale of the events is the big Festival of Lights. The unique light installations transform the Rosarium into a mysterious world.
Enjoy sophisticated events in a rosy atmosphere.
