Nordsee-Campingplatz Schillig

The North Sea campsite in Schillig is one of the oldest and largest campsites in Germany. A camping vacation in Wangerland on the North Sea is an unforgettable experience for the whole family. Nordseecamping Hooksiel and Nordseecamping Schillig have a long tradition. Then as now, it is the special geographical location that makes these sites so popular. Mother Nature has created a sandy beach of unusual dimensions here. The almost four-kilometre-long "most camper-friendly beach" slopes gently down to the sea, making it particularly suitable for children.

There is a kite meadow with a kitesurfing school on this huge site. All kinds of beach and water sports are possible and guided mudflat walks are offered at low tide. There are Nordic walking routes of over 100 kilometers in length and Nordic walking courses take place as part of the daily sports program. There is something for the whole family at the church facilities, in the "Seesternchen" children's playhouse and in the "circus tent".

You can reach Horumersiel with its spa garden, a Kursaal for events, which can be used free of charge by campers and users of the caravan site next to the campsite, via the beach promenade. The Friesland-Therme leisure pool is also located here.

The North Sea campsite, which is located directly on the Wadden Sea UNESCO World Heritage Site, has all the facilities you would expect from a four-star campsite. Each pitch has a direct connection for electricity, water and waste water (electricity consumption included), modern sanitary facilities with its own children's sanitary area, camping library, playgrounds, football pitch, Wi-Fi, self-service market, restaurant and much more.

A variety of excursion options invite you to explore the surrounding area. Spend the night on our motorhome site by the North Sea, or reserve one of our comfort pitches for motorhomes and caravans. There is also plenty of space here for those who come to camp.

During the vacation periods, there are lots of great books in the Protestant camping library.

Please note, however, the general quiet times from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m.
