The Wangerooge National Park House is a recognized extracurricular place of learning and contains an exhibition focusing on the international importance of the Wadden Sea for bird migration. The exhibition features interactive stations, touchscreens, an aquarium and its own cinema. There is a sustainable store in the entrance area. In front of the house is a sperm whale skeleton, which came from one of the two sperm whales that stranded on Wangerooge in January 2016.
The Wangerooge National Park House also offers guided tours and events on various topics. There is something for everyone, whether it's people with or without disabilities, school classes, leisure groups or families with children.
