Hannoversche Rennbahn

Trotting track

Galloping has always been a symbol of first class, leadership and tradition. This image is supported by the spacious and impressive racecourse in Hanover-Langenhagen. The special ambience and the park-like, well-kept surroundings guarantee successful events.

Sporting excellence and promising races attract a wide audience from northern Germany to the "Neue Bult" racecourse. There you can enjoy an event that is somewhere between a high-society gala and a folk festival, between shrimps and bratwurst.

To ensure that the family outing is also an experience for the children, the young visitors are offered an extensive and varied entertainment program on every official race day, which is free of charge. These include pony rides, face painting and hairdressing, a bouncy castle, horse simulator and much more. A pony race is held at regular intervals, in which children and young people up to the age of 17 have to guess the winner. The winners to be drawn will receive attractive prizes.

The last large racecourse to be built in Germany The Hannoversche Rennverein e.V. was founded on July 8, 1867, making it the oldest sports club in the capital of Lower Saxony. Via Mecklen-Haide, the Kleine Bult at today's Stadtpark and the Große Bult in Hanover's Südstadt, the club found its home at today's Neue Bult in Langenhagen in 1973. The "Neue Bult" racecourse is still the last large racecourse to be built in Germany.
