The Emden harbor cruise starts in the middle of the city right at the head of the Ratsdelft. Passing the museum ships (the rescue cruiser "Georg Breusing", the lightship "Amrumbank" and the sailing lugger AE7), you pass the promenade on the Delft under the railroad bridge (a former skipper used to comment on the bridge with the words "please keep your heads down, don't damage our bridges"), then you pass the docks of the company. Emden dockyards (large cruise ships of the Phoenix shipping company and the "Thor Heyerdahl" are currently moored there) and opposite the training center of Enercon, one of the largest wind turbine manufacturers. Cars are loaded at the EVAG terminal. Emden is the 3rd largest car loading port in Europe. You can also see the historic shipyard, the Nesserlander and the large sea lock. As the list of facilities worth mentioning is much longer, there is only one thing to do: take a ride!
