Großes Meer

The magnificent nature and water sports paradise Großes Meer, in the heart of the municipality of Südbrookmerland, offers special experiences all year round. The Großes Meer is not only Lower Saxony's fourth largest inland lake, but also East Frisia's largest inland lake with numerous sights and activities around the lake. 

Sailors, surfers and families with small children have lots of fun on East Frisia's largest inland lake. On the northern shore, the guest harbor offers great activities - play giant chess, relax with a game of boules or unwind in the small Finnish sauna in the red wooden house. Enjoy delicious food and drinks in the nearby restaurant while the children play in the adjacent pirate playground. Visit us at the tourist information office at the guest harbor.
