Experiencing energy with excitement and fun - that is the focus of the ENERGY EXPERIENCE CENTRE East Frisia (EEZ) in Aurich.

The core of the visitor attraction on the East Frisian peninsula is the interactive exhibition ENERGY FUTURE: it presents the various areas of the topic of energy in a playful and informative way. On 1,600 m2, scientific phenomena are made tangible in seven themed areas with impressive exhibits and hands-on stations.

Earth, water, sun and wind - visitors can look forward to impressive experiments on the energy sources of the future. However, traditional forms of energy and the upcoming challenges for the population regarding the energy transition are also made clear. In the energy game, visitors can test the knowledge they have experienced and learned and design their own energy transition, all interactively on touchscreens, of course.

The ENERGY TOWER is spectacular and emotional: a 360-degree projection allows visitors to experience the breathtaking power of energy up close. And visitors are right in the middle of the action.

In the outdoor area of the EEZ, the theme of wind is highlighted. A highlight of the exhibition is certainly the original nacelle and the rotor blade of a wind turbine. The enormous dimensions of these high-tech machines will leave you in awe.

Various school facilities have also found their home in the EEZ. This gives guests the opportunity to look over the shoulders of children doing research. The glass workshops also give you the unique opportunity to follow trainees from technical fields during their lessons.

Afterwards, the bistro with its outdoor terrace right on the water and the EEZ store are the ideal place to process the impressions gained in what is probably the most architecturally impressive building in the region.
