Pupils as designers and inventors

The MEYER WERFT shipyard offers a "floating classroom" as a certified extracurricular place of learning. In the shipyard's visitor center, pupils can become "up-and-coming shipbuilders" through practical and entertaining teaching units. There are educational programs for grades 1 to 5 in the subjects of physics, geography and history that provide insights into modern technology.

Services:

  • Guided tour of the visitor center (approx. 1 hour)
  • Practical phase in the "Floating Classroom" (approx. 1 hour)

Pre-registration is required.
A fee of €7 per person is charged for the program (number of participants: minimum 16 up to a maximum of 25 students).
