There are "only" 297 steps or about 60 meters of "ascent" - then you ll be standing on the closed viewing platform of the approximately 65 m high wind turbine, type E-66.  Fortunately, you don't have to climb the stairs outside as usual, but can quite "comfortably" and safely use the spiral staircase inside the tower. At the top, you can expect a magnificent view over the East Frisian landscape and the sound of the 30-metre-long rotors. Incidentally, there are only two accessible wind turbines in Germany. So, get over your fear of heights and get climbing!

A visit to the wind turbine is only possible in conjunction with a guided tour. The guided tours take place from April to October.
