For many, a childhood dream comes true in Haren: driving an excavator. There are also toy, mini and model excavators - but after appropriate instruction, guests can actually get to work with a 25-tonne tracked excavator, just like on a construction site. Quad bike rides are also possible on the extensive grounds near the Schloss Dankern vacation center. There is a fun excavating competition for group and family events.
