The "German Olympus" observation tower is a wonderful destination for visitors.
Inaugurated in 1860, the observation tower has been renovated and enlarged several times since then. Today, the 23-metre-high tower gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy a fascinating view of the surrounding landscape. All in all, you are on the viewing platform at approx. 90m above sea level, which gives you a wide view over the Elbe all the way to Schleswig-Holstein.
The viewing platform can be reached via the interior staircase or the lift.
