‘Laugh, learn, research and discover the world through all your senses’. This motto of the AHA-ERLEBNIS museum isn’t only loved and lived by children and young people. Natural science know-how and creative interactions invite the younger generation and the young at heart to explore and try-out all sorts of adventures in knowledge in 30 different places spread over 450 square meters of space. Artistically created ‘learning islands’ tempt you to touch, tinker, puzzle, wonder and understand.
The motto ‘Children in Charge’ is taken seriously here. A thirty person strong Children’s Parliament has been part of the AHA-ERLEBNIS team since 2002. The young researchers, aged between 6 and 16 are instrumental in the multi-generational interactive exhibitions and major projects which change annually. This unusual mix also gives grownups a real feel of the AHA-ERLEBENIS too.
With projects like ‘Journey To The Moon’ or the (P)UpPS-Fabrik, visitors can dive playfully into topics like ecological footprints in an educational and adventure-rich landscape. It’s worth taking a look at our events calendar to make sure you don’t miss anything on our multi-faceted afternoon programme, offering theatre, music, and experiments.
