The Aeronauticum vividly presents the history and technical development of naval aviation with original exhibits, dioramas, photos and texts. On the approx. 36,000 square metre outdoor area, 18 original aircraft of the German naval aviators since 1956 are exhibited. In addition, there are large exhibits from the airfield fire brigade and on the subject of military transports. Special exhibitions complete the range of exhibits. The museum café and the large children's playground invite visitors to linger.
