Family gatherings, club parties, and cabbage-picking and beer-tasting tours are available for up to 40 people—even without an overnight stay! Our inn, with its rustic charm, farming traditions, variety, and quality, welcomes guests of all ages.
Our 20 guest rooms are all equipped with a shower and restroom; some also have a TV, and all feature a cozy sitting area. Rooms on the ground floor are wheelchair accessible. A sunroom, fireplace lounge, breakfast room, kitchenette, game room, and TV room invite our guests to relax.
When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the sun terrace, the covered outdoor seating area with a ping-pong table and foosball, the large farm garden, a playground, a treehouse, a campfire site, and the farm pool. On the farm, young and old alike can relax or enjoy a variety of activities: swinging, digging, playing in the mud, riding pedal tractors and go-karts, climbing, and playing ball. They can have some quiet time in the stilt house or build bridges over the stream. Meanwhile, the adults can enjoy a quiet cup of coffee while watching the children play happily.

Coming from Bremen and Hanover, take the A 27 (Verden-Nord exit) and the B 215 toward Rotenburg (Wümme).
From Hamburg, follow the A 1 toward Bremen (Bockel exit). The “metronom” rail company offers a direct connection between Hamburg and Bremen, with a stop in Rotenburg (Wümme). In addition, the EVB operates between Verden and Rotenburg (Wümme), making it easy to travel from Hanover or Minden as well. You can bring your bicycle on all of these train routes. Our lodging has been certified by the German Hiking Association as a “Quality Host for Wanderbares Deutschland” and is particularly hiker-friendly. From here, you can set out on hikes along the NORDPFADEN trails: Rotenburger Wasserreich, Dör’t Moor, and Wümmniederung. For families with strollers and wheelchair users, the accessible NORDPFAD Wolfsgrund trail is ideal.
Cyclists can use the network of bike paths around our farm or take a bike tour along a section of the Wümme Bike Path or the Rotenburg bike routes.
