The approx. 25-minute boat ride to Insel Wilhelmstein flies by, as just a few meters into the Steinhuder Meer, you leave your everyday life behind and dive into a different little world right in the middle of the Steinhuder Meer. In addition to the historic emigrant boats, you can also take the 'Meerhopper' to Insel Wilhelmstein. The line ship departs from Steinhude or Mardorf at regular times to take you to Insel Wilhelmstein.

Arrival: A visit to the island of Wilhelmstein begins very excitingly. For even the ride on the Auswanderer is a very special experience. The approximately 25-minute journey to the island of Wilhelmstein by boat passes by in the blink of an eye, as after just a few meters on the Steinhuder Meer you leave your everyday life behind and immerse yourself in another small world right in the middle of the Steinhuder Meer. In addition to the historical Auswanderer, you can also take the Meerhopper to the island of Wilhelmstein. The scheduled ship takes you from Steinhude or Mardorf to the island of Wilhelmstein at fixed times.
