By car:
From Bremen, take the A 27 towards Bremerhaven (Bremen-Nord exit) and the B 74 via Osterholz-Scharmbeck to Gnarrenburg.

From Bremerhaven, take the A 27 towards Bremen (exit Beverstedt) and the B 71. In Basdahl, turn off towards Osterholz-Scharmbeck and follow the B 74 to Kuhstedt and from there follow the signs to Gnarrenburg. From Hamburg, follow the A1 towards Bremen, take the Elsdorf exit and from there drive via Zeven to Gnarrenburg.

- Gnarrenburg is an ideal starting point for hikes along the NORDPFADEN trails in Eichholz and Franzhorn (starting near the campground) and Huvenhoopsmoor (starting in Glinstedt), or for bike tours in the region. The 450-km-long “From Teuelsmoor to the Wadden Sea” bike trail runs
right through Gnarrenburg, for example.
