- The restaurant is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please check our kitchen hours to see when breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, or dinner are served.

- The Wachtelei is located in the district town of Rotenburg (Wümme) near the Ratsgymnasium, in Gerberstraße.
Arrival by car:
You can reach the district town of Rotenburg (Wümme) from Bremen or Hamburg via the A 1 (exit Stuckenborstel) and B 75 (exit Rotenburg Mitte). If you are traveling from Hanover, follow the A 27 (exit Verden Nord) and take the B 215 in the direction of Rotenburg (Wümme).
Arrival by public transportation:
The district town of Rotenburg (Wümme) is very easy to reach by train. The railroad company "metronom" offers a direct connection between Hamburg and Bremen, with Rotenburg (Wümme) as a stopover. The EVB also runs between Verden and Rotenburg (Wümme), making it easy to travel from Hanover or Minden. Bicycles can be taken on all of these train connections.
