Our pub is a meeting place for everyone. Here you can meet in a convivial atmosphere at the regulars' table, for a cozy stop after a hike or an excursion and simply for a beer after work. We offer various beers on tap to accompany the delicious food. In October, for example, we have the original Oktoberfest beer on offer. In summer, you can also take a seat in our small beer garden behind the house.
In addition to the restaurant, our hotel has two spacious club rooms and a ballroom, which we can arrange to suit the occasion. Celebrate your wedding, confirmation or birthday with us. Enjoy our large buffets at Christmas or Easter or simply come with your group to one of our popular cabbage drives or the original Tarmstedter-Schlagerparty. There's always something going on here! We are also happy to offer you our party service at your hotel.
Combine a visit to our inn with an activity or an excursion into the surrounding area with its extensive forests, meadows and moors, river valleys and agricultural fields. Embedded in this diverse natural and cultural landscape are idyllic villages, wind and water mills, stone and hill graves.Did you know that you can go hiking right on our doorstep?
- The NORDPFAD Tarmstedter Moor (19.5 km) starts directly opposite us, right by the town hall. One of 24 circular hiking trails in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme), which are well signposted and an experience at any time of year.
- Two other NORDPFADE trails can be easily reached from us by car in just a few minutes. The NORDPFAD Timker Wäler (starting point church in Kirchtimke) and the NORDPFAD Zevener Geest (starting point parking lot Großes Holz).
At the end of the day we also offer you an overnight stay in our simple but cozy single and double rooms.

By car:
You can reach the administrative town of Tarmstedt from Bremen or Hanover via the A 27 (Langwedel exit). Follow the signs towards Zeven on the L133 until you reach Tarmstedt. Coming from Hamburg, take the A 1 (exit Elsdorf) and follow the signs to Zeven. From Zeven take the L133 in the direction of Bremen until you reach Tarmstedt.
By public transportation:
There are numerous bus connections from Bremen, Tostedt, Bremervörde and Rotenburg (Wümme) to the Tarmstedt bus station. However, these do not offer the option of taking a bike with you! You can find more information here: www.vbn.de

Our inn is located opposite starting point 1 of the NORDPFADES Tarmstedter Moor and is particularly hiker-friendly, including providing you with lots of information about the NORDPFADES and the region as well as typical regional dishes. You are welcome to stop by after your hike.
