The Restaurant Schröder is located in Groß Meckelsen in the green heart of Lower Saxony, between Hamburg and Bremen.
Our modern and cozy restaurant is open in the evening and by reservation and offers a variety of delicacies.

The starting point of the 9.6 km long NORDPFADES Kuhbach-Oste is right behind the house. The circular hiking trail allows you to explore the unique landscape on foot at your leisure. And there is plenty to discover: on the one hand, there is the Kuhmühlen recreation area with the enchanting Kuhmühler Forest, the small idyllic Kuhbach stream, the mill pond and the half-timbered buildings of the former watermill. On the other hand, not far from the house, the natural river Oste meanders through the open and slightly hilly and cultivated fields.
If you wish, you can also spend the night with us.
Overnight guests have 37 individually furnished and comfortably equipped rooms in the separate guest house for a relaxing night. The small but very stylish sauna also offers a lovely oasis of calm for up to two people. Ideal for switching off and recharging your batteries.

Our restaurant in the Hotel Schröder is located to the west of Sittensen in Groß Meckelsen, directly on the country road between Sittensen and Zeven.
By car:
From Hamburg or Bremen by car on the A1, take the Sittensen exit (No.47), turn left to Sittensen. In Sittensen drive in the direction of Zeven. Our hotel is located in Groß Meckelsen on the right-hand side.
By train and bus:
From Bremen main station and Hamburg main station (ICE stations) take the regional train "metronom" to Tostedt station.
