Our Melkhus is located in Fintel, at the gateway to the Nordheide. Enjoy milkshakes, quark, yoghurt, ice cream and homemade cakes and let your mind wander while your children let off steam. Directly opposite our Melkhus, within sight of the farm, we have created a lovely children's playground with a range of children's play equipment. While your children play, climb and run around there, you can enjoy a latte and a piece of cake in peace and quiet.
Of course, you can also take a look at our stables during your shore excursion. We run a so-called heifer rearing farm. We turn young cattle into "adults". And if you like, you can combine a visit to the milking parlor with a short hike. The NORDPFAD Haxloher Erde starts directly at our farm.
For groups, we offer a cozy coffee and cake table, gladly in connection with a guided tour of the farm. Ask about our group offers for small and large Melkhus guests. If the weather doesn't play along or it's too hot outside, our barn, which is right next to the Melkhus, offers great space for up to 25 people.

Openings
Our Melkhus is open from May 1 to October 3, 2023 from Tuesday to Friday between 14:00-18:00 and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 11:00 and 18:00.
Dayoff: Monday
Company holidays: The Melkhus in Lower Saxony and therefore also in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme) are only open in the summer season. We take a winter break from the beginning of October to the end of April.

In unserer Milchraststätte bekommen Sie Speisen rund um die Milch, frisch vom Land - von einem Glas frischer Milch, leckeren Milchshakes und Quarkspeisen, selbstgebackenen Kuchen, Milchkaffee bis hin zu erfrischenden Eis. Probieren Sie gerne auch unsere Käsewürfel von einer umliegenden Hofmolkerei.

Unser Melkhus liegt am Ortsrand von Fintel.
Fintel erreichen Sie mit dem Auto aus Bremen kommend über die A 1 (Abfahrt Stuckenborstel) und die B 75. Fahren Sie in Richtung Rotenburg (Wümme) und Scheeßel und folgen Sie ab Scheeßel der Wegweisung Richtung Fintel.
Aus Richtung Hamburg kommend, nehmen Sie die A 1 (Abfahrt Rade) und die B 75 bis Lauenbrück. Dort folgen Sie der Ausschilderung nach Fintel.
Aus Richtung Hannover kommend, nehmen Sie die A 7 (Abfahrt Soltau-Süd), folgen der B 3 Richtung Hamburg und Schneverdingen. In Schneverdingen geht es in Richtung Rotenburg (Wümme) weiter bis Zahrensen. Dort der Beschilderung nach Fintel folgen.

Verbinden Sie einen Melkhusbesuch gerne mit einer gemütlichen Radtour! Wir sind fahrradfreundlicher Partnerbetrieb des Wümme-Radweges, der an unserem Melkhus vorbeiführt.
Wer lieber zu Fuß unterwegs ist, kann eine Wanderung auf dem NORDPFAD Haxloher Erde unternehmen. Der Startpunkt des Rundwanderweges befindet sich direkt gegenüber des Melkhus.
Als vom Deutschen Wanderverband geprüfter und ausgezeichneter "Qualitätsgastgeber Wanderbares Deutschland - Gastronomie" haben wir uns besonders auf die Bedrüfnisse von wandernden Gästen eingestellt. So halten wir jede Menge Infos zu den NORDPFADEN und der Region bereit und bieten regionaltypische Kuchenkreationen an.
