Welcome to Hof Aselmann!
Our Melkhus is located in Fintel, at the gateway to the Nordheide. Enjoy milkshakes, quark, yoghurt, ice cream and homemade cakes and let your mind wander while your children let off steam. Directly opposite our Melkhus, within sight of the farm, we have created a lovely children's playground with a range of children's play equipment. While your children play, climb and run around there, you can enjoy a latte and a piece of cake in peace and quiet.
Of course, you can also take a look at our stables during your shore excursion. We run a so-called heifer rearing farm. We turn young cattle into "adults". And if you like, you can combine a visit to the milking parlor with a short hike. The NORDPFAD Haxloher Erde starts directly at our farm.
For groups, we offer a cozy coffee and cake table, gladly in connection with a guided tour of the farm. Ask about our group offers for small and large Melkhus guests. If the weather doesn't play along or it's too hot outside, our barn, which is right next to the Melkhus, offers great space for up to 25 people.

Openings
Our Melkhus is open from May 1 to October 3, 2023 from Tuesday to Friday between 14:00-18:00 and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 11:00 and 18:00.
Dayoff: Monday
Company holidays: The Melkhus in Lower Saxony and therefore also in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme) are only open in the summer season. We take a winter break from the beginning of October to the end of April.
Specialties
In our dairy restaurant, you can enjoy milk-based dishes fresh from the land - from a glass of fresh milk, delicious milkshakes and quark dishes, home-baked cakes, lattes and refreshing ice cream. You are also welcome to try our cheese cubes from a nearby farm dairy.

Our Melkhus is located on the outskirts of Fintel.
You can reach Fintel by car coming from Bremen via the A 1 (exit Stuckenborstel) and the B 75. Drive in the direction of Rotenburg (Wümme) and Scheeßel and follow the signs to Fintel from Scheeßel.
Coming from Hamburg, take the A 1 (exit Rade) and the B 75 to Lauenbrück. There follow the signs to Fintel.
Coming from Hanover, take the A 7 (exit Soltau-Süd) and follow the B 3 towards Hamburg and Schneverdingen. In Schneverdingen, continue in the direction of Rotenburg (Wümme) until you reach Zahrensen. There follow the signs to Fintel.
In Fintel, follow the Melkhus signs!

Combine a visit to the Melkhus with a leisurely bike ride! We are a bicycle-friendly partner of the Wümme cycle path, which runs past our Melkhus.
If you prefer to walk, you can take a hike on the NORDPFAD Haxloher Erde. The starting point of the circular hiking trail is directly opposite the Melkhus.
