World Heritage Day
Join in, discover and do good

On June 7, 2026, the Rammelsberg World Heritage Site invites you to the big World Heritage Day. Under the motto "Do good and talk about it", the day is all about volunteering, commitment and community. Associations and initiatives are given a stage to present their work and inspire visitors to get involved.

A varied hands-on program for the whole family ensures an eventful day: free rides on the historic steam locomotive "Fabian", the inclined elevator at the mine and a bouncy castle for younger guests make the visit a special experience. In the Einfallsreich workshop, young and old explorers can discover the treasures of the Rammelsberg in a creative way.

A special highlight is the raffle for a good cause. The proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will go to Wunschliste e.V. and will support the "HarrGlück" project this year. The aim is to finance two wigs for children with cancer - produced with the support of haare-spenden.de.

Music, food and drinks will be provided on site. Admission is free. In addition, there is a free shuttle through the World Heritage Site: the Goslar Bimmelbahn takes visitors comfortably through the World Heritage Site directly to the Rammelsberg.

The World Heritage Day combines culture, family experience and social commitment - a day to discover, participate and do good.
