Wild Herbs Around Meensen

On a hike around Meensen, we not only enjoy the sweeping view all the way to the Harz Mountains, but also experience the many wild herbs and fruits along the trail with all our senses. Clove root, garlic mustard, and wild cabbage all have names that hint at their use in traditional wild herb cuisine.

We’ll prepare quick, simple dishes, enjoy them amidst the autumn scenery, and get tips on how to cook them over a campfire.
