Weinfest in Greetsiel

Wine festival
The Greetsiel Wine Festival transforms the idyllic meadow by the harbor into an atmospheric open-air experience brimming with North German serenity and culinary diversity. Amid historic gabled houses and passing fishing boats, visitors can enjoy a select assortment of wines from various growing regions in a relaxed atmosphere. Renowned winemakers look forward to presenting their wines. Hours are daily from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. There’s a free bouncy castle for the kids. During the wine festival, visitors have the opportunity to sample a wide variety of German wines, including white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines. The event also offers a selection of culinary delights that pair well with the various wines. Several food vendors will be serving their specialties, ranging from delicious fish sandwiches from Greetsiel to French fries, Swabian Maultaschen with cheese spaetzle, flambéed salmon, and Asian dishes. Of course, the well-known “Beachbar von Olli aus Oldenburg” will also be there, because not everyone is a wine lover.
