And this year it will be even more beautiful - because the Touristik der Stadt Wiesmoor and the Torf- und Siedlungsmuseum Wiesmoor are jointly inviting you to a very special Christmas market.
On 2 and 3. Advent, from 1 pm to 8 pm, you can expect an atmospheric Christmas market that connects the Flower Hall, the Garden Park and the Village and Settlement Museum - a joint festival full of lights, scents and Christmas joy.
🌸 Flower Hall - the start of your Christmas journey
Start your tour at the Flower Hall, which has been festively decorated by Touristik Wiesmoor . Between lovingly decorated stalls, you will find arts and crafts, handmade gifts and winter treats. Musical performances create a festive atmosphere on both days of the event.
🌳 Garden Park - Sea of Lights & Children's Joy
Continue your visit with a walk through the festively illuminated Garden Park until the museum shines between the illuminated trees. Twinkling lights, a nostalgic children's carousel and crafting fun await you along the way at Kinderzeit Ostfriesland. If you like, try your hand at curling or play a leisurely game of boules in the garden park. Of course, Santa Claus will also be stopping by - at 2:30 p.m. in the flower hall - and will then take the historic Lorenbahn to the museum to collect the children's wish lists.

The historical ambience of the Peat and Settlement Museum, which organizes this Christmas market together with Touristik Wiesmoor, creates a very special atmosphere. Between the old colonists' houses, the smithy and the village school, you can smell the scent of freshly baked goods, hearty treats and Feuerzangenbowle (punch).
