Weihnachtsmützenlauf
On the third Sunday of Advent, the Apen community, together with the sports clubs TuS Augustfehn, TuS Vorwärts Augustfehn, and TV Apen, is organizing the Christmas Hat Run.
Join us and support the NWZ Christmas campaign with your participation.
Whether it’s the 10.6 km run, the 5.1 km fitness run, the 1.8 km student run, or the Bambini run:
Every participant will receive their own Christmas hat before the start.
The road race takes place in the wintry Fehn landscape along the Aper Tief and the towpath of the Augustfehn Canal. In addition to the scenic views of the Ammerland parkland, the 10.6 km run also passes through the Apen industrial park and the towns of Augustfehn, Hengstforde, and Vreschen-Bokel.
The route uses paved roads, bridges, hiking trails, and gravel paths.
