The Christmas market always takes place on the grounds of Gebhardshagen moated castle on the first weekend of Advent. It is organized by the advertising association of Gebhardshagen merchants "GGK".

Not least because of its free offer for children with children's carousel, Punch and Judy, readings and Santa Claus.
But also the stage program with several bands from the area is very popular and ensures a good atmosphere!

In the horse stable, hobby artists present their products.
The association attaches great importance to giving local associations the opportunity to present themselves and boost their coffers.

For example, the Wasserburg support association offers medieval drinks at its stand.
The elementary school at Sonnenberg is represented with a coffee in the manor house and the volunteer fire department from Gebhardshagen
has a stand with bratwurst and potato pancakes. The youth fire department offers stick bread baking, candy floss and popcorn.
