A cozy afternoon in a pre-Christmas atmosphere
On the 1st Sunday in Advent, the Wettrup community associations invite you to the Christmas market on the church forecourt. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., visitors can stroll around, browse and get in the mood for the upcoming Advent season in a cozy atmosphere.
The stalls are festively decorated and invite you to linger. Here you will find everything your heart desires: mulled wine, waffles, Christmas cookies, arts and crafts and much more.
A contemplative organ recital will be played in the church from 2.30 pm. A visit to the church is a good opportunity to get in the mood for the coming Advent season.
A varied program is offered for young and old. There will be coffee and cake in the old school, and great prizes can be won at the lottery booth and the Santa Claus puzzle. A nativity scene exhibition can be seen for the first time in the parish garden.
For the little guests, St. Nicholas will make a stop in Wettrup at 4:30 pm. He comes to the church and has a surprise for all the children.
