The Christmas market will take place on Saturday, December 6 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on and around the historic market square in the middle of Hornburg.
At the Christmas-decorated market, you can expect specialties from the region such as delicious Cambert, pancakes with apple sauce from the German-Italian Friendship Association or grilled sausages from Bötel's butcher's shop. Mulled wine, eggnog and Feuerzangenbowle from the Hornburg marching band as well as all kinds of Christmas treats such as cookies and roasted almonds. Traditional handicrafts in the form of wooden items and gifts are also available.
This year, the senior citizens' association invites Hornburg's senior citizens to enjoy free coffee and cake at Café Zuckerblume on the market square. Santa Claus is not the only one with surprises for the little guests. A children's carousel, craft activities and a story reading session are sure to put the youngest visitors in a pre-Christmas mood. The Christmas music program will be provided by the Achim trombone choir, which will perform festive chorales on the market square at 6.30 pm and invite you to sing along.

on the B82 to the primary school/fire brigade and park on Rhodener Straße.

- 15.00 Opening of the Christmas market on the market square in Hornburg
- 15.30 - 17.30 Craft activities and readings of Christmas tales for children by the team of MTV Hornburg e.V. and Altstadttheater Hornburg e.V.
- At around 5.30 p.m. St. Nicholas makes an appearance in front of the Adler pharmacy
- 18.30 "Hornburg - we sing!" with the Achim/Hornburg trombone choir on the market square
