Wattwandern am Uplewarder Trockenstrand - Wat is wat in Watt und Pfütze?
Join our certified National Park mudflat guides* to discover the fascinating mudflat habitat with its unique flora and fauna. Due to the natural conditions, our route is manageable and offers exciting and varied insights into this unique Wadden Sea ecosystem, shaped by the tides. Please be sure to wear weatherproof clothing. Rubber boots are not recommended. To protect your feet from injuries caused by mussels, we recommend sturdy athletic socks or “Beachies” from our shop.
Please note that the Uplewarder mudflats are very muddy. For safety reasons, the mudflat tour is therefore not possible with a child or baby in a carrier. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed! For all ages 6 and up.&Duration: approx. 2 hours (1.5 hours of which are spent on the mudflats). Cost: Adults €12.00; Children €7.00. With NC: Adults €11.00 / Children €6.00. Booking is absolutely required at the National Park Center or online, as space is limited! Meeting point: Parking lot at Trockenstrand in Upleward (GPS: Mollweg 1 in 26736 Krummhörn-Upleward).
