Movies Like in the 1920s: A Nostalgic Film Experience at the Hoher Wall in Aurich One week after the city festival, on Friday, August 21, 2026, there will be a nostalgic atmosphere at the “Zur Börse” restaurant under the trees in Aurich. The traveling cinema will be making a guest appearance with the “Laster der Nacht” (Truck of the Night), a 1969 fire truck, and will present silent films of various genres starting at 9:00 p.m. The films will be projected using historic 16mm film technology. The mobile cinema is transported by a vintage fire truck, a Magirus Deutz, and incorporates all the necessary cinema, sound, and lighting equipment.
