The Schweineberg in the Hameln city forest is home to one of the largest populations of March violets in northern Germany. On the designated nature trails, you can hike along the ridge path through the oldest nature reserve in Lower Saxony.
The rangers who accompany you on the hike are certified forest educators and make the Sunday walk an informative experience. A great opportunity to explore nature and learn more about the flora and fauna of the region.
