This FriedWald site will be available as a cemetery for 99 years after opening. This means until December 31, 2102.
A special opening square offers space for flowers and memorial services
A special feature of FriedWald Bramsche is the opening square, where a memorial stone is placed. This memorial stone, decorated with a metal cross, serves as a place to lay flowers or other grave decorations during funerals or memorial services. Over the years, the boulder from the Ice Age has become a place of remembrance for the deceased and a haven of peace in the cemetery.
Various benches, wooden blocks to sit on at the model grave, stone blocks in the parking lot and other seating options along the forest paths also offer a place to linger. There is also a spacious shelter right next to the parking lot. At its center is a stone with a metal cross that can be used to place urns. For a smaller group, the shelter can also be used as a place for a funeral service before a burial.
Burials in the middle of the unspoilt Osnabrück countryside
The landscape is unspoilt and has a wild and romantic charm. A small watercourse runs through the wooded area. In the north of the district of Osnabrück in Lower Saxony, between the villages of Achmer and Ueffeln, nature unfolds wonderfully. The Bramsche cemetery forest lies in the middle of it. The branches of the beech trees rise majestically into the sky. The lush green foliage towers like a protective canopy over the tree trunks, where burials are possible.
