While forest bathing, participants engage intensively with the forest and themselves with all their senses. Stress is reduced and health is strengthened. What do I see, what do I feel, what do I smell and hear? There will be many interesting and surprising answers to these questions during the intensive forest walk.
Forest bathing - the background:
The Japanese invented the idea of bathing in the forest. There it is called "Shinrin Yoku" and has long been a popular and widespread method of reducing stress, lowering blood pressure, strengthening the immune system and preventing burnout. However, the bathing suits are left at home, it is not about swimming. We simply immerse ourselves in the healing atmosphere of the forest. Forest bathing is about consciously taking a break. It's about being mindful of nature, but also of your own body and mind. In short: soaking up the forest atmosphere, listening, smelling, tasting, seeing, feeling, touching.
