Tradition bis Moderne XIV - Quilts 2026
From May 25 to August 15, 2026, the Steinhuder Museums will present the exhibition “Tradition to Modernity XIV – Quilts 2026.” The Patchwork Gilde Deutschland e.V. will showcase a selection of contemporary quilts from all over Germany that combine traditional techniques with modern design.
The exhibition showcases the wide range of contemporary quilt art and has been a major crowd-pleaser in the museum’s program for years.
The exhibition will open on May 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. A highlight of the opening reception will be a live presentation of Michaela Garche’s weaving art.
A full-color catalog will be published to accompany the exhibition.
