Themenabend „Gesprächskultur“ (Wandelwoche Lüneburg 2026)

For some, the barriers against extreme parties should be strengthened; for others, they should become more permeable. But how do we actually deal with political opponents and those who think differently? What motivates us to draw boundaries—and when is it worth seeking dialogue?

With our listening format, we aim to create space for genuine encounters and overcome stereotypical thinking. What moves you about this topic? When was the last time you felt that someone was truly listening to you? In small groups, you can share your own perspectives and learn about other points of view—respectfully and as equals. Everyone receives the same speaking time; every voice is heard.

All citizens are warmly invited. No registration is required.

Afterward, the topic will be further discussed during a panel discussion.

The Lüneburg Transformation Week will take place from October 30 to November 8, 2026.
A good life for everyone is possible—if we engage in dialogue, share ideas, learn about different perspectives, and work together to find solutions.
 
Through >50 events organized by >60 Lüneburg-based initiatives, the Transformation Week showcases what’s already happening in Lüneburg, encourages people to get involved, and creates spaces for encounters, exchange, and collaborative experimentation. The focus is on the big questions of our time: climate and sustainability, democracy, housing and mobility, social justice and diversity—and always on how we talk about and debate these issues with one another.
 
How can we engage with one another respectfully and as equals? How do we keep the conversation going, even when we disagree? And how can we work together to shape a future worth living?
 
Transformation Week invites you to try exactly that.
