Theater walk "Raven-black night stories" with Markus Veith

"Nobody knows their way around the darkness better."

Markus Veith has long been a household name here in Bad Essen. For several years, he has regularly delighted residents and guests with his plays. Whether on a walk through nature or on stage, every event has been a complete success. In 2026, he returns with his "Raven Black Night Stories" and once again takes you into a world of fine horror, black humor and gruesome fun with goosebumps and laughter guaranteed!

Edgar Allan Poe's raven emerges from the horror poem and invites you on an eerily macabre walk through the dark green. For this gloomy bird can not only utter "Nevermore". He can see the souls of the dead, knows exactly where and how murders have taken place and recites these stories in lines of pitch-black humor. He tells stories about werewolves and vampires, about those who are tired of living and the extremely lively dead, pokes fun at people's superstitions and presents many a classic in the process: he leads us through the bush, where ring oxen are natting, croaks lyrical fountains and the morning star glows over everything.
