Teetied in Heiten's Huus

"Heitens Huus" is one of the few remaining Fehnhäuser in Moormerland. It originally stood at the junction of the 7th Norderwieke (now Kiefernstraße) and the Hauptwieke (Dr.-Warsing-Straße). Since 1995, the "Heitens Haus" has served as a small, living museum and can be visited. Visitors can gain an insight into the way of life of the Fehntjer people in days gone by. Visits are possible from mid-May to the beginning of October every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Interesting stories about the house's past are told over tea and cake.

Special tours for groups are also possible outside of these times on request.
