Tarmstedt exhibition
The municipality of Tarmstedt is located in the agricultural region between Bremen and Hamburg. Once a year, the small town of around 3,900 inhabitants becomes the center of northern German agriculture for four days: since 1949, the Tarmstedt Exhibition has always opened its doors on the second weekend in July from Friday to Monday.
Around 100,000 visitors then flock to the 18-hectare exhibition grounds on the outskirts of the town, where around 750 exhibitors present innovations in agricultural technology, farming, rural living, gardening, leisure and renewable energies. The entire village and its many associations are involved, and the exhibition management also has regional roots.
