In how many ways can we explore manipulation through movement? This masterclass is divided into two phases and focuses on individual exploration as well as collaborative work in pairs.
Participants will take part in improvisational exercises to understand and explore principles of movement related to control and manipulation, inspired by the theme of the “Sabotage” project. SABOTAGE takes a forgiving, humorous, and dramatic look at human nature. Dancers and life-size puppets interact within an ingenious and absurd manual system of strings and pulleys. Poetic, aesthetic, brutal, profound, absurd, astonishing, funny. Human. A theatrical experience that defies categorization.
