Tag des offenen Denkmals

  • Other arts and culture
  • Other offers for citizens

Under the motto "Networks: Monuments & Infrastructure" the Museum Hameln presents its own listed museum buildings. In the old town of Hameln, one inevitably passes the splendid buildings of the Weser Renaissance. But since when has the Leisthaus and the Stiftsherrenhaus actually housed the museum? Who lived there in the past? And are there still traces of the medieval residential tower?

On the occasion of the Day of Open Monuments, three free guided tours will take place in the museum:

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. | 60 Minutes Through Hameln's City History - Tour of the permanent exhibition

3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. | Fine Lines, Fine Humor - Curator tour of the special exhibition

4:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. | Former Residential House, Today a Museum - Tour of the house and resident history
