On Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., downtown Bad Bevensen will once again become a lively gathering place for anyone interested in the region’s diverse community life. Under the motto “Get to Know, Learn, and Get Involved,” numerous local clubs and initiatives will showcase their work and invite visitors to enjoy a varied afternoon.
The event offers an ideal opportunity to discover the different facets of community life—whether in sports, culture, music, nature, social causes, or tradition. Along the pedestrian zone, participating groups will provide information about their programs, projects, and opportunities to get involved. Many booths will also offer interactive activities and demonstrations where people of all ages can get involved.
There’s plenty of music on offer as well: Various music groups and ensembles from the region will create a lively atmosphere with their performances and invite visitors to experience the music up close. Anyone interested can try out instruments, ask questions, or find out about opportunities to get involved.
In addition, other clubs and initiatives will provide insights into their work—ranging from community service and creative hobbies to sports and community activities. Visitors can strike up conversations, discover new things, and perhaps even find a hobby or volunteer opportunity that’s right for them.
“Clubs Day” is thus not only a platform to showcase the diverse range of community involvement in Bad Bevensen, but also an invitation to everyone to experience community and play an active role in shaping it.
Clubs and initiatives that would still like to participate can register for a booth space by August 14, 2026.
